Having suffered from a prolapsed disc in the lower spine, which resulted in surgery to relieve the acute sciatic pain, I have struggled to find a chair that I can use at home or work for any period of time. The Swopper was recommended by a colleague, and I was keen to try one out. Tim at Fluto kindly offered to send me a Swopper on trial, giving me the chance to try one at home and advised me to gradually increase the sitting time whilst I got used to it.

The springiness of the Swopper and the 3D movement is similar to sitting on a gym ball, but the gym ball never works out well at home, always seeming to get in the way. I am very impressed by the build quality of the Swopper, it feels like something that will last a long time. Compared to my multi-adjustable office chair that I have adjusted so many times, the Swopper really does promote a better sitting position, and I do not get the pull in my lower back when I stand after sitting for a while. The height adjustment means that the whole family can easily use the Swopper when sitting at the computer.
